Synopsis:
Batman interrupts a robbery at a chemical lab. Man-Bat, and Kirk Langstrom, is also at the lab. He needs a chemical from the company safe that could stop him from completing his transformation into bat form. Batman tries to stop him from taking the chemical, but he fails. Batman also learns that Langstrom is not wearing a mask.

Batman is able to deduce Man-Bat's true identity. He goes to Langstrom's lab and meets his fiancee. Together they find Langstrom in his lab. The shock of seeing his fiancee causes Langstrom to drop the precious chemicals he needed and forces him to flee.

Langstrom, now fully transformed into a bat complete with wings, follows a bat to a cave outside the city. The cave happens to be the Bat-Cave. When Batman returns, he apprehends Man-Bat and vows to find a cure.
