Synopsis:
Green Arrow and Speedy apprehend Professor Wurm, a chemist who has invented time pills which he uses to extort money from various families. Following the case, Green Arrow puts the unused time pills in his trophy case. Speedy is curious and takes one of the time pills.
The pill transports Speedy back in time to twelfth century England where he soon encounters Robin Hood. When the Sheriff of Nottingham and his associate Sir Guy attack, Robin comes to Speedy's defense. Both are outnumbered. Green Arrow then discovers Speedy's disappearance and follows him by taking another of the time pills. The trio of archers is then able to ward off the attackers.
While stranded in the past, Green Arrow and Speedy join Robin Hood's band. However, when Robin is accused of murder, Green Arrow turns him over to Sir Guy to receive a fair trial. When the knight tries to execute Robin without trial, Green Arrow realizes that he was deceived. Green Arrow and Speedy then rescue Robin. As they celebrate victory the time pills wear off. Green Arrow and Speedy then return to their own time period.
