Synopsis:
Oliver Queen suddenly finds himself short on cash. His broker informs him that he needs to come up with two thousand dollars to secure his current holdings in the market. Ollie takes a department store job, while Roy Harper goes to work selling vaccuum cleaners.

Elsewhere the several brokers are murdered by a gang of criminals known as Crime, Incorporated. Green Arrow investigates while on his lunch hour. He protects two other brokers from being killed. Then he and Speedy capture the gang members. Pinne, the clerk of one of the intended victims, is proven to be the man behind the murders as he was trying to seize control of a company.

Oliver loses his job as the store, but he earns a reward as Green Arrow for the capture of the crooks. The money helps to secure his holdings, allowing Green Arrow to go back into action full-time.
