Synopsis:
Aquaman finds a message in a bottle warning travelers about the Sargasso Sea. He investigates and finds a ship slowed by seaweed. When he boards the ship, he finds the crew frozen in sleep-like trances. Pirates then attack him. Aquaman is hit by sleep gas and frozen like the crew. His immobile body then falls overboard.

At the bottom of the sea, Aquaman regains his senses. The heavier water pressure revived him. Further investigation shows that a pirate calling himself Sargasso has hijacked many ships and used the sleeping gas to turn the crews into slaves. Aquaman frees them from their trances and puts an end to Sargasso and his plot.
