Synopsis:
Firestorm has become disgusted with humanity and tries to leave the Earth. As he begins to leave orbit, an unexpected force draws him back to Earth at tremendous speed. He awakens from the crash landing a week later then renews his crusade against Vandermeer Steel.
Finch, the head of the steel factory, calls in some metahuman help in the form of Maser, the newly rechristened hero formerly known as Air Wave. Maser has been retrained by the Sunderland Corporation as a corporate tool. He battles Firestorm and their confrontation leads to an explosion. Maser is knocked out, and Firestorm disappears.
