Synopsis:
While Ronnie Raymond tries to rebuild his relationship with Professor Stein, Mikhail Arkadin struggles with his separation from his wife Nina. Meanwhile a Soviet laboratory has successfully created a clone using Firestorm's DNA. The entity, dubbed Svarozhich, lacks a soul and breaks out of the laboratory where he was created. Svarozhich then puts out of fire in Moscow and restores a woman to life.
The woman is a distant relative of Feodor Piotrovich, a member of Soyuz. Although restored to life, her mind has been destroyed. Feodor asks Serafina for help. She in turn forces her uncle to become Firestorm against his will in order to help. Firestorm then confronts Svarozhich who uses his power to fission the Nuclear Man back into his human forms.
