Synopsis:
While the senior members of the Doom Patrol are in Nicaragua, the three junior members of the team are left at headquarters in Kansas City. They decide to go out to a night club. Wayne causes a fight when he hits on one of the club girls. He leaves the club and runs into cops on the street. They recognize him as a murder suspect and give chase.
Wayne runs into Shrapnel, a hired assassin who has come to Kansas City and battled police. Wayne, Rhea, and Scott are slightly wounded when the crook explodes and sends shards of his body hurtling at them. After Shrapnel reassembles he leaves the kids behind. They return to headquarters and find that the senior members are home.
