This story is continued from Doctor Fate #10 and continues in Doctor Fate #12.

Synopsis:
Darkseid visits Nabu's New York apartment intending to kill Eric. Nabu stalls Darkseid and gives Eric time to leave. However, the delay is not effective, and Darkseid soon corner Eric who becomes Doctor Fate without Linda. Darkseid then opens a boom tube and sends Fate to Apokolips where a group of parademons attacks him.

Nabu gets a message to Linda to return home. He informs her of Darkseid's intentions toward Eric. She then becomes Doctor Fate and goes to Apokolips to save Eric.
