This story takes place on Jimmy's birthday.

Synopsis:
Jimmy receives a gift from the Legion of Super-Heroes for his birthday. The package contains three costumes that will allow Jimmy to duplicate the powers of Lightning Lad, Element Lad, and Sun Boy. Also included is a Legion flight ring.

Jimmy then takes a flight as a passenger aboard a new experimental aircraft. The plane is forced down by a criminal called the Weapons Wizard. The crook wants to force Jimmy to reveal Superman's secret identity. Using the powers of the costumes, Jimmy battles the Weapons Wizard and his men. Despite his powers, Jimmy is captured. However, he manages to drink his Elastic Lad serum. His stretching powers allow Jimmy to prevail over the crooks.
