Synopsis:
Superman helps Allen Funt of the Candid Camera TV show prank Perry White by making the Daily Planet building disappear. Following the stunt, Funt plans another prank to be broadcast on live TV. Using Perry as his accomplice, Funt's actors stage a robbery at the Metropolis Fair. When Clark Kent slips away to become Superman, Funt's cameras capture him in the act of switching clothes.

It appears as if Clark's identity has been revealed on nationwide television. However, Clark shows Funt that he is wearing Batman pants. He claims that he discovered the prank earlier and put on the costumes to play a prank of his own on Funt. In reality, Clark's super-hearing warned him at the last moment, allowing him to make the costume change. With Clark's prank revealed, no one suspects that he is secretly Superman.
