Synopsis:
Starman visits Stellar Avionics Lab where his powers are tested. While there he learns of a connection to the Hutchings Institute. Later he finds that Dr. Melrose from the Institute has taken custody of the Power Elite. Starman confronts Melrose, who tells a fictitious story. Melrose claims that the Power Elite are heroes duped by a Durlan spy. He convinces Starman to help revive them. After Melrose's machine revives the Elite, Starman is trapped and his energy siphoned off into David Winters. However, the energy overloads Winters and the machine causing an explosion. Winters is killed, leaving Starman at the mercy of the other members of the Power Elite.
