Plastic Man and Woozy Winks try to find a paying job. They answer an ad for security guards at the bank, but they are turned down. During the interview, the bank is robbed by the Ooze Brothers, a trio of crooks whose bodies are formed from sludge. Plastic Man pursues them, but the crooks escape.

Plastic Man then visits the police station for leads on the gang. He is led to the local dump which the gang is using as a hideout. The toxic waste is responsible for their condition. Plastic Man captures the gang and turns them in for a reward.
