Looker receives a telepathic summons from Abyssia. The Outsiders locate the only remaining portal to the underground world. Expecting a trap the Outsiders are prepared, though they find Abyssia under the rule of the Manhunters who have entered via and deep sea tunnel. Looker is forced to battle Queen Tamira in an arena, while the other Outsiders fight the Manhunters.
Tamira strips Looker of her powers before she herself falls into a pit of fire. Halo then steps in the path of a Manhunter weapon to save her teammate. The weapon blast leaves Halo near death. After the Manhunters are defeated, the Outsiders return to the surface. Lia retuns to her husband, while the rest of the Outsiders choose to disband after suffering critical loses to their team.
