Synopsis:
Dr. Jace visits a former student, Marsha Chandler, who now works for Biogen Laboratories. Chandler has created a new virus that attacks the human immune system. When she is accidentally infected with the virus, the lab is locked down, and Jace summons the Outsiders.
When the team arrives at the lab, they find it surrounded by military forces. They enter the lab and discover many of the staff are infected. The virus itself is intelligent and needs hosts to survive. The Outsiders battle the staffers until they discover Jace who is still untouched by the virus.
While the Outsiders and Jace race to build a vaccine for the virus, the infection spreads to the military. They are ordered to drop a load of the virus into the local water supply potentionally contaminating millions of people. The Outsiders stop the virus from being released, and Jace concocts a cure. Jace herself is allergic to the vaccine, so when she is infected Looker bluffs the virus into leaving the doctor's body where it is destroyed.
