Synopsis:
Bruce tries to cure himself of his Eclipso persona by using another ultra-violet ray-gun. The gun does not appear to work and explodes. Bruce gives up on the ultra-violet ray method of curing himself.

Bruce then decides to pursue a cure on the island where he first became Eclipso. When an artificial eclipse on the island causes Eclipso to emerge again, he separates completely from Bruce. Eclipso escapes the island, stranding Bruce and Professor Bennett.

After escaping the island on a passing ship, Bruce discovers that Eclipso has impersonated him and is using a newly invented digging machine to cause trouble. Bruce is framed for the crime, causing the nearby people to hunt him down. He finally exposes Eclipso's scheme and returns the villain to his own body. The effect of splitting into separate individuals appears to be a permanent effect, allowing Bruce to battle Eclipso face-to-face.
