Martian Manhunter's series is continued from the second story of Detective Comics #326.

Synopsis:
After another full moon, the Idol-Head of Diabolu creates a strange monster. The monster touches a nearby farmer causing him to grow to giant size and become a menace. J'onn J'onzz knocks the farmer out, while Zook follows the creature.

The creature touches Zook before the alien can use his powers. Zook grows into a giant and attacks J'onn. The Martian Manhunter takes out his partner, but the giant-maker has reached another target, a miniature wizard called Malador.

Malador attacks J'onn with sorcery. The magic is able to remove J'onn's powers. Zook recovers consciousness, but he is still an out-of-control giant. The alien uses his powers against both J'onn and Malador, encasing them both inside blocks of ice. J'onn's powers are restores allowing him to escape the ice. By intensifying Zook's freezing effect on Malador, J'onn causes the wizard to shrink to harmless size. Zook and the farmer then return to their normal size and demeanor.
