Synopsis:
Danny and his father are contacted by radio while flying over the arctic. They are asked to find actress Nina Bates whose plane went down near them. Before they can locate Nina, their own plane goes down. Rex and Danny jump to safety, while Major Dennis rides the plane into the arctic waters. Rex protects Danny from a polar bear then they find Nina's plane. Major Dennis meets up with them, having survived the crash. While he fixes the plane, Rex protects them from a mammoth awoken from suspended animation by a heated geyser. The plane with all aboard makes a successful take-off before the iceberg they are stranded on melts into the sea.
