Part 2: "The Subterranean Terror"

Synopsis:
The Chief talks Elasti-Girl into resuming her Hollywood career in order to keep her from accompanying the team on a dangerous mission. Underground nuclear tests have created a pair of powerful radioactive creatures and the Doom Patrol burrows beneath the Earth’s crust in a fantastic sonic-powered "digger" craft to investigate. Rita sees through the ruse in time to rejoin her comrades and save them from being trapped by the creatures. The team is then able to destroy the nuclear beings showering them with a liquid carbon solution.
