Synopsis:
Simon Stagg and Metamorpho visit Europe. Stagg meets gambler Achille Le Heele and loses Metamorpho in a bet. When Rex refuses to work for Le Heele, the gambler kidnaps Stagg. Metamorpho is then forced to steal famous monuments including the Eiffel Tower in order to rescue Stagg.

Metamorpho succeeds in rescuing Stagg. He then learns that Stagg has evidence of Le Heele's crimes that was passed along by an international policeman. Le Heele kidnaps Stagg again. This time he takes Sapphire too. Rex and Java manage another rescue and obtain the evidence to convict Le Heele of his crimes.
