This story is continued from Batman #235.

Synopsis:
Pat Whalon has fled the Van Winkle commune and started a forest fire in the process. Robin helps to battle the blaze, then he enlists the surrounding townspeople for more assistance. Once the blaze is contained, Robin seeks out and apprehends Whalon. The commune's crops are devastated by the fire, but the local townspeople agree to supply them with food. Finally, Nanci Beeker agrees to return home to visit her father.
