Synopsis:
Young Donnie Peters thinks Sheriff Walt Trigger is a hero. He rides with the sheriff to a homestead where his family will soon be signing a deed to the property after years of hard work. Outlaws, intent on preventing the deed signing, try to stop them and injure Walt. Wayne takes over and tries to rescue Donnie's family. When he is captured, Walt returns and captures the gang despite his injury. Donnie's family then signs the deed. Donnie gives Walt a well earned piece of pie for his help.
