Synopsis:
When Johnny Thunder returns to Mesa City he learns that Silk Black, a dangerous killer has escaped from jail. Black and his gang begin terrorizing the neighboring areas, but he doesn't come near Mesa City. Johnny lures him into town by posting a death threat directed at him that was supposedly made by Black. Unwilling to ruin his own reputation for keeping his word, Black confronts Johnny to carry out the death warrant. Johnny survives and apprehends the crook, having known that the outlaw's ego was his weakness.
