Superman does not appear in this story which features his descendant from the year 2966.

Later reprintings of this story place the time as 2496 rather than 2966, presumedly to avoid conflicts with the Legion of Super-Heroes who exist in 2966.

This is the third in a series of Superman of 2965 tales. This story is continued from the first story of Action Comics #338.

Synopsis:
The Superman of 2966 escapes a water trap set for him by Muto with the help of three android children. He then helps the Atlanteans to defeat one of Muto's lieutenants who threatens Atlantis. Muto then uses a growth ray to enlarge the people of Metropolis to gigantic height. Superman restores them to normal before his confrontation with Muto. Having deduced Muto's weakness, Superman is able to open a space-warp capable of sending Muto back to his home dimension. Superman hopes that the villain never returns.
