Synopsis:
When Bruce Wayne is forced to wear a Batman costume at a masquerade party many guests recognize a resemblance to the real Batman. Shark Marlin sees Bruce's photo in the newspaper and decides to use him as a phony Batman against his rival Duke Kelmer. To ensure that Bruce cooperates he holds Dick Grayson hostage.

Bruce must then pretend to be Batman, while the two gangs try to commit crimes. He must stop both gangs, but he can't appear to be too skilled or Shark will realize that he is the real Batman. After foiling two such crimes, Shark begins to have suspicions.

On the third attempted heist, Shark marks Bruce's face in order to distinguish him as the phony Batman. Fortunately, Robin has escaped from the rest of the gang and assists Batman. The crooks are captured, but Shark believes he now knows that Batman is Bruce Wayne. Batman then reveals a rubber Bruce Wayne mask which he uses to fool Shark into thinking he switched places with Bruce.
