Synopsis:
A mysterious energy creature menaces the Mediterranean, forcing the military to call Superman for help. Batman comes too and learns that the creature can be stopped using a weapon left behind in the past by aliens.

Superman delays the creature, while Batman and Robin travel to ancient Egypt using Professor Nichols time machine. They retrieve the weapon, hiding it inside an unearthed pyramid. In the present Superman recovers the weapon and destroys the creature.
