Synopsis:
Superman, Batman, and Robin trail an escaped crook to a mountain cave where they become trapped. The criminal seals them in and uses sleeping gas and Kryptonite to keep them captive.

The heroes awaken 1000 years in the future to a world much different from their own. The scientists there offer to send the heroes home using a time-ray, but the machine has been stolen.

A descendant of Luthor, Rohtul, has been menacing the people of the future as well. Superman and Batman use ancient crime-fighting techniques to subdue the crook and his men, but they can’t find the time-ray.

Batman deduces that the machine was stolen by Lora, one of the scientists. She wished to keep Superman in her own time because she loved him. She realizes that her actions are misguided and returns the time-ray. The heroes return home to a moment before they were captured. They stop the crook and prevent the circumstances that caused their long sleep.
