Synopsis:
District attorney Morton Randall receives a death threat from Mr. Ghool. While the Pembertons are visiting his house, Mr. Ghool strikes. Sylvester is locked in a room, while Randall is forced to drink a liquid that seems to cause his death. Stipesy barges in before Mr. Ghool can administer the poison to the Pembertons. Sylvester gets looses and helps Stripesy as the Star-Spangled Kid. Despite their efforts, Mr. Ghool escapes.

After the funeral for Randall, Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy return to the graveyard. They find Mr. Ghool has stolen Randall's body. The heroes are captured and learn that Randall was only put into suspended animation. The Kid and Stripesy then break free, rescue Randall, and capture Mr. Ghool.
