Synopsis:
Superman is struck by lightning while in the Middle East on an archaeological dig with Lana Lang. The lightning transports Superman into the past of a parallel world.

On this world history has developed differently placing Jason and Hercules in the roles of David and Goliath. Superman aids Hercules, who has been weakened by Red Kryptonite, in completing six tasks. After completing three of the deeds, another lightning bolt returning Superman to his own world.
