Synopsis:
Jimmy Olsen signals Superman to help with some ant-shaped aliens, but when the Man of Steel arrives, the aliens are gone. Superman chastizes Jimmy for signalling him without a good reason. Later, Jimmy calls Superman again. Again, the menace disappears before Superman arrives.

The Man of Steel decides to quit answering Jimmy’s signal. Jimmy is then confronted by the Bedone gang, who force Jimmy to turn over his book, containing evidence against them. Superman does not come to help Jimmy, but the boy reporter plants the signal watch on the crooks. He realizes the crooks set him up with phony stunts like the aliens. After returning to the Daily Planet, Jimmy tells Superman to follow the watch’s signal to find the crooks.
