Part 2: "The Doom of Jimmy Olsen and Robin"
Robin and Jimmy Olsen build their own headquarters, called the Eyrie, in this story.
This issue contains a one-page text feature, "The Finest from World's Finest" which recaps several past Superman-Batman tales.
Synopsis:
Robin and Jimmy Olsen move several trophies from their collections into a new building, the Eyrie, which becomes their new headquarters. While unpacking the boxes, Jimmy finds two space jewels brought to him by Superman. Jimmy and Robin wear the jewels as badges, not realizing the jewels are alive. The jewels possess the boys and cause them to split from their partners, forming their own team.
Robin and Jimmy defy their partners and capture criminals using telepathic abilities granted them by the jewels. They accept reward money for the captures and use it to build a space ship. Superman deduces that the jewels are in possession of the boys. He apprehends them before they can enter space. By subjecting them to electrical shock, Superman breaks the boys from the jewels' influence.
