Synopsis:
Congo Bill and Professor Kent travel along a river in Africa searching for a rumored lost city. They come under attack by jungle natives and are captured. As prisoners Bill and Kent are brought to the lost city where a criminal known as the Skull has taken refuge.

The Skull orders Professor Kent to locate the treasures hidden within the city. Kent refuses to take part in the looting, so he and Bill are locked up.

Bill finds a secret escape tunnel in their cell which leads to the treasure. He takes the Skull by surprise, then has the natives bring the treasure to a boat. Bill and Kent escape with the treasure which they plan to turn over to the government. However, the Skull escapes.
