Synopsis:
Derrick Perkins applies as a participant for Roy's TV show. Perkins has a machine which he claims can locate anyone on Earth if given a personal possession to analyze. Roy tests Perkins then agrees to allow him on the show.

Perkins displays his machine on television by locating a kidnap victim, Benson Gale. When the machine announces the location, Perkins and police follow. They find a man tied up in the basement claiming that Perkins left him there. Perkins blurts out a confession, only to learn that the bound man is Roy. Raymond suspected trickery. He had a real bloodhound help locate Gale ahead of time, then went to the basement to surprise Perkins and obtain a confession.
