Synopsis:
Bruce Wayne becomes a private detective while Vicki Vale's detective friend Ed Wedge is in the hospital. Two men approach Bruce asking him to obtain a model train that Batman has kept as a trophy from a previous case. Suspicious, Bruce delivers a phony train to one of the men, Frank Kelcy. Kelcy realizes the train is a fake, then joins forces with Tilley, the lawyer of the train's former owner Tracks Carlin. Batman apprehends the men as they try to steal another copy of the train from Bruce Wayne's office. A later examination of the real model reveals that Carlin used the wire on the train to make recordings detailing the criminals deeds of Tilley, Kelcey, and others.
