Synopsis:
Six members of Flash's Rogues Gallery escape from jail via teleporation. The crooks meet at their costumer and decide to team-up against their common foe, the Flash. The Scarlet Speedster locates the crooks during a jewel robbery. While he combats Captain Cold and Pied Piper he notices that his speed is slowly vanishing. Without his full power, the villains overcome him. Before they can deliver the final blow, Flash vibrates through the floor and escapes.
Before tackling the villains again, Flash decides to learn why his speed is failing. He tracks a mysterious radiation to the gorilla cage at the local zoo. Flash suspects Grodd is behind the problem, so he races to Gorilla City. He finds the inhabitants frozen in trance-like comas, including Grodd. Before leaving, Solovar establishes mental contact with Flash to explain that Grodd has exchanged minds with one of the zoo gorillas.
Flash runs back to Central City, where he uses a female gorilla to track down Grodd. Grodd teleports the six villains to aid him. Flash manages to counter their attacks and knock them out, but in so doing Grodd is able to completely neutralize Flash's powers. Grodd prepares to finish off the speedster, when the female gorilla stops him. Her attack allows Flash to recover and defeat his primate foe. Flash returns Grodd to Gorilla City where Solovar imprisons him once again.
