Synopsis:
Batman and Robin trail a gang of radium thieves onto the estate of eccentric Francis Van Orsdell, a tree lover. Batman catches Nails Finney and his mob, but can't hold them because the stolen radium can't be found. To catch the crooks, Batman stakes out the airport where another load of radium is being delivered. The crooks again elude capture, but Robin learns they will strike the Ajax Clock Company. This time Batman is able to follow the crooks back to Van Orsdell's estate. He finds the crooks with the stolen radium which they had hidden in a hollow tree. Batman is assisted in apprehending them when the tree falls on top of them.
