Synopsis:
Lois attends a meeting of the Volunteers for Peace, a group trying to stop rearmament. Lois speaks out against the group’s leader, Stuart Pemberton, inciting the crowd to attack her. Superman arrives to rescue her and return her to the Daily Planet.

Superman returns and overhears the plans to sabotage important strategic centers, so that Nation X can attack. Superman races around Metropolis stopping the saboteurs working with the foreign power. An attack force of planes arrives and begins bombing the city. Superman smashes the planes and forces the leader to order a retreat.

Pemberton warns to citizens to surrender during a radio broadcast. Lois tries to stop him, but she is captured. Superman rescues her again and takes out the traitor, Pemberton.
