Synopsis:
A new replacement named Ring joins Easy Company. He is quickly called Brass Ring when the soldier proves that he's out to get a medal instead of using teamwork. Brass Ring show courage and skill in facing the enemy, but he does so by putting Easy at risk.

When Easy is pinned down by enemy fire, Brass Ring becomes entangled in a barbed wire fence. Ice Cream Soldier risks his own life to help Ring. When Ice Cream Soldier is wounded, the rest of Easy charges a tank with nothing but bayonets. Miraculously, Easy wins the battle. Brass Ring is then rescued, having learned the value of his team.
