Synopsis:
After crossing an open field with Easy Company, Sgt. Rock tells the squad about a previous battle in which he had to leave a man behind in order to complete a mission. After finishing the tale, one kid asks Rock what happened to the soldier left behind. Rock explains that he never found out.

Easy is soon attacked by enemy fire. The kid is hit. History repeats itself as Rock is forced to leave him behind. As Easy completes its mission, an enemy tank gets the drop on them. Suddenly, the kid, despite his wounds, appears and single-handedly takes out the tank. The kid explains to Rock that he wanted Rock to know what happened to him.
