Synopsis:
While using an alien time-viewer that he discovered on another world, Superman sees Titano the Super-Ape. The time-viewer accidentally brings Titano into the present, where he menaces Metropolis. The Super-Ape captures Lois Lane in a cage and places her around his neck. Superman is unable to get near Titano because of the ape’s Kryptonite vision.

Titano is drawn to round objects such as the Daily Planet globe and a giant balloon. Superman realizes that the ape is searching for giant coconuts that serve as his food. Superman gets some from the past to placate Titano. The ape then becomes passive which allows the Man of Steel to rescue Lois and send the ape back in time.
