Synopsis:
A gang of jewel thieves robs the Gotham City Museum of Art. Batman and Robin track them to Goodwin Island. Judge Goodwin, the owner of the island, prohibits modern inventions on the island, so the Dynamic Duo are forced to turn over their utility belts. Batman suspects Diamond Dan Carson, a café owner, as the leader of the jewel thieves. When the crooks strike, the police of the island are helpless against the modern weapons of the crooks. Batman builds a tank from an old-fashioned fire engine. Using the makeshift tank, Batman is able to apprehend Diamond Dan and his gang. Following the incident, Judge Goodwin repeals his ban on modern inventions.
