Synopsis:
Several criminals are able to escape from jail by teleporting. Carl Ballard, an old foe of the Atom, is behind the escapes. Ballard is using Europium to allow the crooks to teleport.

Atom follows one of the crooks and is lead back to Ballard’s hideout. He is captured by Ballard, who gives him Europium. Then the crook hypnotizes Atom to teleport to Africa if he sees Ballard. After two trips to Africa, Atom realizes what has been done, so he travels to Japan. Ballard hypnotic suggestion was scheduled to wear off in two days, but because Atom crossed the international dateline, it ends earlier than the crook expects. Atom then returns to Ivytown to capture Ballard and his men.
