Comments:
This story continues in part in the second story of Green Lantern #37.

Synopsis:
Hal Jordan goes on a date with Carol's secretary Betty Sloane. During the date, Betty hypnotizes him into writing reports on his activities and mailing the reports to a spy ring. After writing two such reports including one which reveals his secret identity, Hal realizes that he was hypnotized.

For the next report, he has Pieface retrieve the letter before it can be mailed. Then GL uses his power ring to disguise himself as a letter. He mails himself to the spies, where he learns that they have not yet read the previous two reports. GL breaks up the spy ring, without having revealed any of his secrets.
