Synopsis:
A criminal known as the Thinker uses a giant computer brain to deduce Batman's secret identity. When Batman learns about the device, he arrange for Bruce Wayne's apparent death at sea. However, police blame Alfred for murder and send him to prison.

While in prison Alfred is contacted by the Thinker's men. He joins them on a jail break after first alerting Batman. Alfred is brought to the Thinker's hide-out where he sabotages the computer brain just as it is preparing to output Batman's secret. Due to Alfred's sabotage, instead of naming Bruce Wayne as Batman's secret identity, it name's Alfred himself. The gang then prepares to kill Alfred, but Batman arrives in time. The Thinker is caught, the computer brain is destroyed, and Alfred is rescued.

After the Thinker is captured, Batman arranges for Bruce Wayne to be found alive.
