Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty witness a shady bellhop talking to a hotel guest about some luggage. Slam decides to follow the guest, who buys a suitcase, then visits a train station. When a phony fight breaks out, the man switches suitcases with another traveler. Slam confronts the thief on the train, but he is delayed by the other passengers.

After disembarking from the train, Slam and Shorty are captured by the thief's partners. The detectives escape and track down the thief who stole the bag which contained important papers. Slam exposes lumberyard owner who hired the thief and ensures that the papers are returned to their rightful owner.
