Synopsis:
Lana Lang brings several authentic artifacts from her father's African collection to school to use as props in a play. One of the artifacts is a blow gun used by native tribesman. Lana accidentally is poked by a dart tipped with poison. She instantly falls asleep. Superboy learns that the poison requires a rare antidote.

Superboy is about to ask Lana's father if he has any of the antidote, but instead learns that Mr. Lang is preparing for a secret government mission. Superboy doesn't want to distract Lang from his important work, so he doesn't tell him about his daughter. In order to fool Mr. Lang, Superboy stages a play in which Lana plays sleeping beauty.

Superboy then flies to Africa and retrieves the antidote from the local natives. He then returns to Smallville and gives the antidote to Lana. She recovers. Mr. Lang doesn't learn that his daughter was poisoned and is able to go on his mission without distraction.
