Comments:
This story takes place centuries after the destruction of the City of the Golden Gate.

Synopsis:
Following the time of Arion and the Great Migration, Atlantis has survived. It has taken centuries to rediscover many of the lost secrets of that golden age, but the city of Poseidonis now thrives under the rule of Orin. The ruler orders that an official record of Atlantis be kept. Albart of Ancinor is chosen as the first keeper of the Atlantis Chronicles.

During Orin's time as ruler his people share the land with other less advanced people. When these savages attack, Orin orders the construction of a giant dome to enclose and protect the city. Orin's brother Shalako is outraged and fears that the dome will anger the sky god Suula. Despite Shalako's warning, construction of the dome begins.

Shortly after the dome is completed, Rajar, Orin's chief advisor, spots a meteor which he believes will strike the Earth. Orin orders that a laser be used to stop the meteor, but it must be placed in territory of the savages. When the barbarians kill Rajar, Orin orders them wiped out. The laser is put in place, but it fails. When the meteor strikes the sea it causes a great deluge which causes the city of Poseidonis to be consumes by the ocean.
