Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty witness men leaving a factory for the day. One of the men acts suspiciously and is concerned about a needle. Later Slam learns that diamond-tipped needles have been stolen from the factory. He uncovers the crooks using a magnet to get the needles out of the plant. Despite the discovery, the crooks get away with the goods.

Slam and Shorty manage to follow the thieves to the harbor. The crooks try to drug the detectives, but Slam outsmarts them. He and Shorty are able to summon authorities and catch the crooks with a boatload of stolen goods.
