Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty visit the zoo. Shorty wants to ride an elephant, but instead he is picked up by one using its trunk. Later, Shorty is bumped into by pickpocket Danny the Dip. He finds his wallet is missing. Another man also reports a missing wallet. Shorty accuses Danny the Dip, but neither wallet is found.

Slam begins following the elephant which leads him to a gang of crooks. The crooks try to sell one of the missing wallets back to its owner. Slam proves that the crooks trained the elephant to pick up short men causing their wallets to fall out and be stolen. Slam exposes the scheme, and the crooks are apprehended.
