Synopsis:
Bruce Wayne returns home to find Thomas Woodley waiting for him. The two struggle. Woodley is wounded and flees into the woods surrounding Wayne Manor. Instead of following him, Batman goes after Carl Fisk, the leader of the Chubala cult. Using miniature explosives planted on Fisk's vulture priest outfit, Batman disgraces Fisk in the eyes of his followers. He then provides evidence and a confession to Gordon which proves that Fisk is behind the drug connection between Gotham and Santa Prisca.

Later, Batman searches the woods for Woodley, who was wounded worse than believed. He fell on his own knife and has succumbed to blood loss. As a final act, he gives the bat mask to Batman. Bruce returns the mask to Alaska where he learns that the shaman has died. His granddaughter tells Bruce to keep the mask and become the mask. It becomes the first trophy in Batman's new Bat-Cave.
