The Atlantic team also loses the relay race in which they were heavily favored. Aqualad and the Pacific team win the olympics.

Later, Aquaman and his Atlantic team push a meteor from a patch of seaweed into a deep hole. The meteor is kryptonite. Aquaman spotted the meteor during the salvage competition and his team threw the events that would take them near it.
